We collect personal information in a small number of situations:

• Checkout — name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number where provided, order contents and payment confirmation. Checkout is operated by Shopify, our ecommerce platform.
• Support and contact forms — your name, email address, optional phone number, order number and the content of your message.
• Return requests — the details above plus the product concerned, the issue you describe, your preferred resolution, and any photos you choose to attach.
• Email signups — where you ask to hear from us, your email address.
• Technical information — basic request information such as IP address and browser user agent, used to keep our forms secure and rate-limited.

Photos attached to a return request are stored privately. They are not published, not publicly accessible, and are only viewed by the people handling your request.

Our storefront uses your browser's local storage to remember the contents of your cart between visits. Shopify sets cookies necessary to operate checkout and to protect against fraud.

We do not currently run third-party advertising pixels or marketing trackers on this site. Our site includes a minimal analytics layer that only records anonymous interaction events (for example, that a return request was started). It never records the contents of your messages, your email address, your order number, or uploaded photos. If we add an analytics or advertising provider in future, this policy will be updated first.

• Shopify — ecommerce platform, checkout and order management
• Payment processors engaged through Shopify — payment authorization and fraud prevention
• Fulfillment and warehouse partners — picking, packing and dispatching your order
• Shipping carriers — delivering your parcel and providing tracking
• Our hosting and database provider — operating this website and storing support requests securely
• Our email delivery provider — sending order and support correspondence

These providers may only use your information to perform services for Little Ideas. We may also disclose information where required by law.

We keep order records for as long as needed to support the order and to meet legal and accounting requirements. Support messages and return requests, including any attached photos, are kept only as long as needed to resolve the request and to handle any related follow-up.

Information submitted through our forms is transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored in access-controlled systems. Uploaded photos are held in private storage that is not publicly reachable. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information you give us.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. To make a request, use our contact form and tell us what you'd like. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Little Ideas sells toys for children, but this website is intended for adults purchasing on a child's behalf. Our forms are not designed to collect personal information directly from children, and we ask that children do not submit information through them. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will remove it.

We may update this policy as our store and the services we rely on change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last reviewed.
